(SPOT.ph) With its wide roads and canopy of trees, the Academic Oval at the University of the Philippines Diliman is a favorite among joggers who just want to stretch their legs and get moving. But the 2.2.-kilometer road is temporarily closing to visitors in light of new COVID-19 variants and the rising number of infected patients in the country, according to a post by the state university on January 21, 6 p.m. The Academic Oval will be closed from January 23 (Saturday) to February 4 (Thursday).
