Even if K-Pop has been well-loved in the Philippines since the 2000s, there's no doubt that an overwhelming number of new fans came to love the genre in 2020. We all probably know at least a few people in our inner circle who fell down deep into the K-Pop rabbit hole this year, right? Naturally, this newfound appreciation for South Korean music reflected in our streaming habits nationwide. No surprise here, but BTS and BLACKPINK are the two of the most-streamed K-Pop groups on Spotify worldwide. And to top it off, both groups have four songs each (a mix of originals and collaborations) on Spotify Philippines' list of Top 10 Most-Streamed K-Pop Songs in the country! "Dynamite" by BTS

It comes as no surprise that BTS' "Dynamite" was the most streamed K-Pop song in the country in 2020 despite being released in August. It's the band's first full song in English and dominated charts all over the world. It even got a Grammy nomination!
"How You Like That" by BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK makes several appearances on this list, but the certified banger "How You Like That" is their highest entry. Released in June as the lead single from the group’s full-length LP The Album, the track fuses pop, hip hop, and trap music and is all about staying strong and confident through tough situations.
