Flower Ranch Cafe
There’s something magical about walking into a flower shop and soaking up the sights of the different blooms on display. Imagine the fragrance of flowers in the air—along with the robust aroma of coffee! Flower Ranch Cafe is a flower shop-slash-coffee shop in Mandaluyong, and you’ll find different flower varieties everywhere, adding life and color into the tranquil and rustic space. They also have a short-but-sweet menu that covers all the basics, from the Long Black (P90) to the Iced Latte (P110) and Cappuccino (P100).

White Camp Coffee & Kitchen
White Camp Coffee & Kitchen is the bright and cheerful antithesis to the many dark, brooding cafés around the Metro, thanks to its primarily white interiors with plenty of natural sunlight. Located in Quezon City, they’re a go-to spot not only for their specialty brews, but also their Asian-inspired heavier bites like the Korean Fried Chicken (P279)—which goes surprisingly well with their Flat White (P140).

La Cathedral Cafe
If you’ve ever dreamed of dining under the stars in the open streets of Italy or France, well, we can’t quite take you there. But we do know the next best place you can visit in the Metro: La Cathedral Café, a restaurant and café located right behind the Manila Cathedral. You can get a romantic view of the historic church when you dine in at their roof deck—perfect for a first date or a night out with friends! You can also feast on comfort favorites, cakes, and coffee drinks while you’re at it.

Sakura Hanami
Love all things pink? You need to check out this milk-tea spot and café, which takes inspiration from Japanese cherry blossoms with their pretty pink space. You’ll find yourself snapping photos of everything from their cozy couches to their flower-laden table, plush pillows, and ultra-Instagrammable flower wall! As for drinks, they have everything from the signature Sakura Signature Bubble Tea (starts at P99/regular) to the flower-infused Cherry Blossom Fizz Tea (starts at P105/regular).

You might know Coffee Project for its space packed with flowers and foliage adorning their walls, ceilings, chandeliers, and shelves. But it gets even better at their Evia Lifestyle Center branch, which is dubbed as Coffee Project Black. Here, they share the space with Fully Booked, which means you get to enjoy your coffee, scour some reads, and take photos—all in one place!

Kurimi Milk Tea Bar
If Seoul has Greem Café—the coffee shop that sports a drawing-esque look inspired by K-Drama series W: Two Worlds Apart—here in Manila, we have Kurimi Milk Tea Bar. This milk-tea spot in Quezon City sports similar interiors, with all-white furniture painted with black lines along the corners and edges for a 2D feel! Their milk-tea selection also employs tea sourced from Taiwan that's brewed fresh every day.

Buku Buku Kafe
Buku Buku means "many books" in Bahasa, and true enough, this cozy café (which is originally from Cavite, but has also opened a branch in SM Southmall) pays homage to books with a whimsical book chandelier you have to see to believe. On the walls, you’ll find framed vintage photos and a street-art mural that breathes life into their industrial-meets-chic space; you can even go up the second floor to read books from the owners’ literary collection. These elements all make for a picturesque backdrop as you snap photos of their winning eats that include the Sisig Nachos (P139/single, P265/barkada) and drinks like teh Kopi Cham (P99).

Elephant Grounds, One Bonifacio High Street
This café from Hong Kong is one of those rare places that exudes both a hip and chill feel, thanks to its brick walls with touches of wood and natural light peeking through. You’ll definitely want to snap a photo of their signature sign on one of the walls, saying “Coffee n’ Chill”. Plus, they’ve got everything from coffee to brunch and dinner meals (plus dessert!) on their menu, so you can pretty much stay there all day.

Celsius Cafe Lounge
Also known as the first third-wave coffee shop in Marikina, Celsius Cafe Lounge is the place to be when you find yourself in the Philippines’ shoe capital. You’ll find yourself in a Zen state of mind with their rustic but lively vibe that’s got tiles, brick walls, and pops of color on the coffee counter and on the eye-catching mural. As for their menu, you can go for specialty coffee beverages, filter coffee, and even non-coffee drinks paired with comfort eats.

% Arabica opened their newest branch at 257 McKinley in October 2020. Designed in collaboration with German architect Alexis Dornier, it’s got a clean, minimalist look that’s easy on the eyes—the perfect backdrop as you snap photos of any of their specialty brews. It’s also got an ampitheater-style seating area that you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.
