Soap making
Handmade soaps, especially those that come in the cutest shapes and colors and hypnotizing scents, are just irresistible. Wood Academy is offering woodworking classes in Quezon City and Antipolo City. Their basic class, which is perfect for beginners, covers woodworking 101, a safety introduction on the proper use of power tools, and pros and cons in using solid wood versus plywood. You also get to practice cutting, planing, assembly, and sanding of wood. Workshop schedule is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on selected dates. The fee is at P4,000 per head, which is inclusive of tools and materials, lunch and snacks, and Wood Academy certificate.

Wakeboarding
The nearest wakeboarding facility in the Metro is right in Calamba, Laguna—Republic Wakepark in Nuvali. Opened in 2012, it features a man-made body of water, ramps, a skatebox, and other obstacles where you can do your twists and turns while on the board. But if you're just starting to get into this water sport, you can also practice simple drills during a two-hour ride.

Follow your dream of becoming a triple threat in the world of theater as you harness your talents in singing, dancing, and acting. Rowing
No, we don't mean kayaking or dragon boat racing—at least, not yet. You can learn rowing as a full-body indoor workout with Saddle Row even at the comforts of your home. Freediving

Sessions are grouped according to the standards of Association Internationale pour le Développement de l'Apnée (or AIDA International), with AIDA 1 designed for the complete beginner. With the constant need to find our Zen, some of us have gotten into the craze of collecting scented candles.
