Yassi Pressman Reportedly Exiting Ang Probinsyano; Will Be Replaced By This Kapamilya Actress

Kapamilya viewers will surely miss the character of Yassi Pressman in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

After four years being part of the longest-running TV series, Yassi bids her goodbye in ‘Ang Probinsyano’.

August 2016 when Yassi brought to life the character of Alyana Arevalo.

The TV news reporter who is related and married to Cardo Dalisay, the lead character of Ang Probinsyano played by Coco Martin.

Television viewers are used to seeing Yassi every night in Ang Probinsyano so they will definitely miss her presence.

Yassi has projects to do for her home studio, Viva Films, in 2021.

Meanwhile, the character of Coco will have a new love interest in the person of Jane’s character.

The taping for Ang Probinsyano will keep Jane busy before she will start shooting for Darna series.

Last Wednesday, a clip that shows Martin meeting Jane de Leon, Geoff Eigenmann, and Vance Larena on the set of the primetime show uploaded on Instagram.

The first glimpse of de Leon as Lia was teased on Sunday during the digital pre-show of ABS-CBN’s 2020 Christmas special. It was followed by a message from “Ang Probinsyano” star Martin, who also helms the series.

“Isang mainit na pagsalubong sa pinakabagong miyembro ng ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ family na si Ms. Jane de Leon,” he said.

De Leon, 22, was described as Martin’s new “leading lady” by Kim Chiu, who co-hosted the pre-show interview.

Jane expresses happiness for being part of the five-year-old series.

As for her, it is a great honor to be included in the cast.
