Direk Percy Intalan didn’t directly address the issue of Julia Clarete about the talent fee.
For the Christmas series “Paano ang Pasko?”
Allegedly, Julia asked for an additional talent fee that’s why she suddenly removed from the casting.
Direk Perci, one of the directors and producers of this Christmas series on TV5, clarified,
“May usapan kasi kami for book one.
“Yung napag-usapan kasi naming TF, pakete yun ng book one. So, natural iyan na iba na ang pag-uusapan namin sa book two.
“Pero hindi naman yun major negotiation, may additional days, e.”
It is confirmed that “Paano ang Pasko?” has a book two which will start next year. So they said they will change the title because Christmas is over.
Direk Perci adds that Julia is still included in book two, and many more characters will be added including Bing Loyzaga.
Bing allegedly did not replace Julia.
“Ang usapan namin, tapusin ang book one ng Paano ang Pasko… e, nag-extend kami. Ginawa namin yung book two.
“Tinapos namin yung sequences niya [Julia]. Siyempre, yung additional days, di ba, kailangan naming bayaran.
“Kasi, aalis siya, e. So, kaya na-prioritize namin yung mga eksena niya.
“Inubos namin yung sequences na kailangan siya. Marami kaming nakunan, e.
“Saka si Bing [Loyzaga], talagang papasok yung character. In fact, may mga eksena silang dalawa,” dagdag niyang pahayag,”
Aside from Bing, Miles Ocampo and Karel Marquez will also be added to book two.
Direk Perci is thankful that they can be extended and they tried to be even better to watch in book two.
The said Christmas series just started last November 23.
It now runs six weeks since its pilot episode on TV5.
