Randy Santiago Emotionally Remembers Late Son Ryan Santiago

Randy Santiago celebrated his 60th birthday in “Magandang Buhay”.

In “Magandang Buhay” this Friday, Randy looks back on his career in showbiz.

“Ang industriya na ginalawan namin ay pelikula. Pablo Santiago, nandiyan (ang kapatid ko) si Rowell Santiago, pero lumihis ako ng kaunti, nag-singer ako. Noong 1987, ‘yun ang start nung ‘Hindi Magbabago’ na nagpabago sa buhay ko,” Randy said who known in his song “Babaero”

After decades of showbiz, Randy is happy to celebrate his 60th birthday.

“Very proud kasi ako na 60 years old ako. Gusto ko kasi kahit paano ay magaya tayo ng ating mga kabataan, ng seniors natin. I try to be an example. As much as possible alagaan mo ang sarili mo, ‘yun ang ginagawa ko,” he quipped.

And for his special day, Randy shared his plan to help those in need.

“Ang gagawin namin for this year, mayroon kaming tinatawag na Randy Shares. Magpapakain kami,” he shared.

But when their conversation goes remembering his late son Ryan, Randy became emotional.

He shed some tears as he reminisces about the time they lost his child.

“Sa araw-araw na ginawa ng Panginoon natin lagi naming nami-miss si Ryan,” Randy said.

Ryan Santiago passed away on 13 August 2017 after years of battling a rare form of brain dis3ase and multiple sclerosis.

Although he underwent major brain surgery in an attempt to drain the fluids out, his health still further deteriorated.

Randy Santiago admitted that it’s painful to see his son Ryan go, but that he will accept what is already written by God.

To the singer, the most important thing is that he and his wife, Marilou were able to be with Ryan until the very last moment.
