(SPOT.ph) There's something about having a cup of joe from a small, independent coffee shop that you know puts a lot of thought and care into their brews. If you're up for a road trip and are looking to savor good coffee, here's a cool shop to check out: Muni Coffee, located along the National Highway in Longos, Kalayaan, Laguna!
Muni Coffee sports a minimalist, Japanese-inspired look with shades of taupe and light brown and wooden accents. You can get your coffee to-go, or hang out at their table and benches. They're open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.
As far as coffee goes, they've got a short but sweet craft-coffee menu that true-blue coffeeheads will love, and that won't bust your wallet. We're talking a cup of V60 Pourover that goes for as low as P45, Kori Kohi for just P70, and Iced Coffee (available in Original, Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel variants) for just P70! You can also get espresso-based classics like the Americano (P55), Cappuccino (P70), and Cafe Mocha (P85), as well as non-coffee drinks like the Muni Chocolate (P50) and Muni Tea (P50). There are also light eats—namely, the Three-Cheese Grilled Sandwich (P60) and Tuna Melt Grilled Sandwich (P60).
Muni Coffee is at National Highway, Barangay Longos, Kalayaan, Laguna. For more information, check out Muni Coffee PH's Facebook page.
