(SPOT.ph) Australia has a distinctive coffee culture—one that's laid-back, alright, but also puts huge emphasis on serving good coffee. One newcomer in Boracay brings the said movement to our shores, while giving it their own Filipino-style twist, and it's well worth adding to your must-visit bucket list! Say hello to Bunchies Cafe, a new coffee shop from the folks behind famous Boracay establishment Nonie's.

Bunchies Cafe got its name from the term of endearment of café partners Geda Nival and Ray Martin for each other.

Bunchies Cafe is located in Sitio Hagdan, which is near areas like Puka Beach, Ili Iligan Beach, and Punta Bunga. The café is frequented by both tourists and locals, and offers Wi-Fi connection and plenty of outlets so you can work in their premises, too.

Can it get any more laid-back here?

The café takes inspiration from the coffee culture of the Land Down Under, but gives it distinctly Filipino touches that make it all their own. You'll find many Aussie-inspired menu items, for example, including the Pork and Fennel Sausage Roll (P120), Chicken Tikka Pie (P200), and the polarizing but must-try Vegemite Cheese Toast (P150). Where possible, they'll inject Filipino elements—as in the case of the vegan Mushroom Tapa Sandwich (P200) and the one-of-a-kind Ube Lamington (P90).

The Chicken Tikka Pie has a flavorful chicken tikka masala filling.

As for coffee, you can bet they put utmost care into their cups of joe as well. They use Yardstick's Golden Ticket Coffee, which has notes of milk chocolate, almonds, and caramel and can be had as a Flat White (P150), Long Black (P120), Cappuccino (P150), and more. They also have more one-of-a-kind beverages like the Blue Pea Latte (P150) and Beetroot Latte (P150).

Chil out with a great cup of coffee here.
