This Hidden Café Has Panoramic Mountain Views

(SPOT.ph) Who isn't on the lookout for a new, nearby spot to run to when you've had enough of the city? Well, here's another cool find to add to the list: Heirloom Coffee & Kitchenette is a cozy little spot tucked into the hilly slopes of Barangay Sinsin, Cebu City—a few meters away from the barangay hall—and it has a sprawling balcony overlooking the mountains. It is around an hour's drive away from the city proper, but we daresay the epic nature views are worth it.

We can totally imagine getting on our bikes and heading to this under-the-radar spot. The restaurant offers some classic café fare; a cup of joe, whether you like it White or Black, is at P80. They also offer different Filter cups, depending on the seasonal brew, and yup, good old Cold Brew for the same price.

If you're a biker, then don't worry cause they have ready fuel for you after a morning ride. Give the hefty Heirloom Brekkie (P180) a try, it is a full plate of sausage, home-made bacon, veggies, an egg, and, of course, rice. Their short but varied menu also has Shrimp with Konbu & Shiitake Pasta (P195), Roast Pork Burger (P150), Spanish House Chorizo (P120) and more.

The place is working on a proper parking spot for four-wheeled vehicles as of writing, but two-wheels are no problem! Heirloom Coffee & Kitchenette is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
