These Are the Shows to Watch If You Like Kim Seon Ho of Start-Up

"Second Lead Syndrome" is real more than ever now that everyone's obsessing over Start-Up and the second lead that stole our hearts, Kim Seon Ho. Most of us who are new to the fandom probably only discovered him through the hit tvN drama, but he's actually been on a number of shows in recent years. Having only transitioned from theater to TV in 2017, the 34-year-old actor landed a variety of small screen roles in different genres. Seon Ho seems that he can do it allcomedy, romance, drama, and even reality TV!

Strongest Deliveryman is a comedy-drama about four young dreamers who want to make it big as entrepreneurs (sounds familiar?). But the crucial difference between the four is their backgrounds: two of them come from humble beginnings while the other two are born with silver spoons. Go Kyung Pyo and Chae Soo Bin star as middle-class workers Choi Kang Soo and Lee Dan Ah, and Ko Won Hee and Seon Ho are ambitious rich kids Lee Ji Yoon and Oh Jin Gyu.

Two Cops (2017)

Two Cops is all about the "two souls in one body" trope. Steely detective Cha Dong Tak (Jo Jung Suk) lives by order and absolutely hates change—but his body is mysteriously "taken over" by the soul of wacky con-man Gong Soo Chang (Seon Ho). Hyeri is also part of the comedy and plays rookie reporter Song Ji Ahn.

100 Days My Prince (2018)

100 Days My Prince is a sageuk drama set in the Joseon Dynasty and stars EXO's D.O. as Crown Prince Lee Yul. Being the perfectionist and idealist that he is, Lee Yul passes a law that basically forces every Korean citizen to get married before they turn 28. After an assassination attempt, Lee Yul loses his memory and is taken into the care of an unmarried village woman Hong Shim (Nam Ji Hyun). Kim Seon Ho plays Lee Yul's adviser, Jung Jae Yoon, who is secretly in love with Hong Shim.

Welcome To Waikiki 2 (2019)

Get ready to laugh your heart out with this comedy! Welcome To Waikiki 2whose storyline is in no way connected to the first season—is set in the Waikiki guesthouse and follows the lives of its staff and tenants. To save the guesthouse from bankruptcy, Cha Woo Shik (Kim Seon Ho) helps his friend and Waikiki owner Lee Joon Ki (Lee Yi Kyung) by investing in it. Woo Shik is a failed K-Pop who started working as a singing teacher and wedding singer to make a living.

Catch The Ghost (2019)

Catch The Ghost is a crime and suspense drama that stars Kim Seon Ho and Moon Geun Young. Police officer Yoo Ryeong's (Geun Young) twin sister suddenly goes missing and she believes it has to do with the city's mysterious serial killer known as The Subway Ghost. She finds herself teaming up with officer Go Ji Seok (Seon Ho) to help her catch the ghost. 

2 Days & 1 Night (2019)

2 Days & 1 Night is a variety and reality show that first aired in 2007. Seon Ho joined the show's fourth season back in December 2019 along with Kim Jong Min, Yeon Jung Hoon, Moon Se Yoon, DinDin, and VIXX's Ravi. In 2 Days & 1 Night, Seon Ho gets to show viewers his goofy and unguarded self as he performs various missions on the show.

Start-Up (2020)

Of course Seon Ho's breakout role has to be part of this list! In Start-Up, he stars as the cold and no-nonsense venture capitalist Han Ji Pyeong. His solid and stable life suddenly turns upside down when he comes across a woman from his past, aspiring entrepreneur Seo Dal Mi (Bae Suzy). Little does Dal Mi know that Ji Pyeong was her first love and pen pal who used the pseudonym Nam Do San to write her love letters. Thing is, Nam Do San is an actual person—a math genius played by Nam Joo Hyuk. To pay back a "debt," Ji Pyeong asks him to meet Dal Mi and pretend to be the Nam Do San she fell in love with as a teen.
