(SPOT.ph) We know, we know: You can't wait to say goodbye to 2020 and leave it all behind. You're probably not in the mood to celebrate the shittiest year on track yet—but how about a huge bang to officially send it off to the dark recesses of your mind? A total of 28 local and international artists, including Ben&Ben, SB19, The Itchyworms, and a lot more, are coming together for a virtual concert! Aptly billed "BYE2020," the show starts at 7 p.m. on December 31, all the way to 2021. Best part? "BYE2020" streams for free!

Joining the folk nine-piece band Ben&Ben, P-Pop group SB19, and OPM sounds of The Itchyworms are a long list of equally epic acts. You can catch Moira dela Torre, Darren Espanto, Matthaios, Leanne & Naara, Glaiza de Castro, Kean Cipriano, Lala Vinzon, Zack Tabudlo, Keiko Necessario, Fern., Elha Nympha, Autotelic, Sud, Miguel Odron, VVS Collective, Ace Banzuelo, Paolo Sandejas, Earl Generao, FANA, TALA, J-Nine, and Dia Mate.

International acts included in the lineup are sure to offer different sounds. Be sure to check out Maximillian, Jeremy Zucker, Peach Tree Rascals, Conor Matthews, and Tate McRae.

This virtual concert experience is set to be the first of its kind. "What BYE2020 delivers is a way for every Filipino to look back at all of the challenges we have faced, and enter 2021 a bit more hopeful," the organizers explained in a statement. "Fortunately for us, technology has allowed us to re-imagine what we can do for music entertainment and live events." The long slew of physical concerts cancelled throughout the year are, admittedly, one of the lesser sad moments—but this online concert is sure to make up for at least this part!

Part of the six-hour long festivities will be a special segment to honor local creators and their awesome achievements in an especially difficult year. This will be done through the Best of the Year Awards alongside digital platforms such as Facebook, Spotify, and TikTok.

"BYE2020" will be streamed live on multiple platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more. It will also air on Sky Cable. If you want access to cool concert privileges such as zoom pits, backstage content with the artists, and limited-edition merch, you can get tickets online at ticket2me.net.
