(SPOT.ph) If you're a big fan of McDonald's and would want to enjoy your go-to Chicken McDo or Big Mac in a branch that's a bit different from your usual, check this out: The Philippines' biggest McDonald's store opens today, December 7, and it's inside the 35.6-hectare Capital Town in San Fernando, Pampanga.
The two-storey store is the 16th Megaworld-owned McDonald's branch and spans more than 1,000 square meters of floor area. It has a no-touch drive-thru facility, an al-fresco dining area, self-ordering kiosks, a meeting room, and a dedicated party area—making it the ultimate spot for any occasion! You'll also find a large parking area, an Instagrammable green wall, and what they call the "McDo Park." Plus, it's got a modern-looking McCafé for when you want to just drink a cup of joe. This branch is open 24 hours and offers McDelivery, too.
Of course, McDonald's has your safety in mind, so they're implementing all the necessary protocols—temperature checks, hand sanitation, footwear disinfection, wearing of face masks, and filling out a Health Check Form prior to entry. For physical-distancing purposes, they'll only be allowing a limited number of customers in at a time.
McDonald’s is an American fast food chain that began in California in 1940, but made their way to our shores in 1992. Since then, they’ve been a go-to for burgers, fries, fried chicken, and more. They also make stellar soft-serve ice cream desserts—some of our favorite variations that they've offered in the past are the McFlurry with Sans Rival and Choco Sundae!
