Cirkulo
Cirkulo’s Slow Roasted U.S. Beef Belly (P4,425/1.5 kilograms, P7,375/2.5 kilograms) is our favorite roasted-beef dish in Manila for its especially succulent makeup (without being too fatty!) and topotch flavor. Majestic Ham
Majestic Ham got the top spot in our 2017 Top 10 Hams in Manila list, and for good reason—it’s got a just-salty-enough, wonderfully smoky flavor that still lets the pork underneath shine. You can go for the Ham Bits (P1,100/kilogram), Sliced Ham (P1,650/kilogram), Ham Chunk (P1,650/kilogram), Half Leg Bone-in Ham (P1,500/kilogram), or Whole Leg Bone-in Ham (P1,500/kilogram). The Plaza
The Plaza has been making their famous ham for more than four decades now, and we’re huge fans for its delicate flavor and tender makeup. You can choose from the Slices (P425/250 grams), Ham Ball (P2,500/1.5 kilograms), or Ham Leg Bone-in (starts at P4,200/2.625 kilograms) and order through their website.

Wildflour
Wildflour’s got more than just great desserts up their sleeves; they’re also bringing in the Christmas cheer with their hams. You can go for the Holiday Ham, which you can get in a box (P1,050/half-kilogram, P1,895/kilogram) with Parker House Rolls and Pineapple Jam, or as part of the Holiday Ham Feast bundle (P3,050) with Parker House Rolls, Pineapple Jam, a Cranberry-Walnut Loaf, Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies, and wine. Yuan’s Paella
Yuan’s Original Paella (starts at P3,500/38 cm pan) isn’t entirely traditional but is nonetheless excellent, with its generous helpings of jumbo prawns, spicy chorizo, grilled chicken, paprika-seasoned pork, crisp greens, and Yuan’s secret sauce. This is available for orders through their website.

Terry’s Bistro
Terry’s makes topnotch paella with topnotch ingredients—they’re also a deli, after all. You can go for the Seafood Paella (P1,380), Black Paella (P1,380), or their famous Super Paella Parellada (P1,380) with shrimps, squid rings, pork, chicken, butifarra, and Spanish chorizo. To get your fix, you can either give the branch nearest you a call and book your own courier for pickup, or find Terry’s Bistro on Foodpanda.

Pio’s Kitchen
This private-dining spot makes superb paella (P4,950/small, P8,500/medium, P12,850/large) that you can order for takeout and enjoy at your own home. Their lineup includes classics like the Paella Marisco (a.k.a. seafood), Paella Mixta (chicken, chorizo, and seafood), and Paella Negra with Seafood and Saffron Aioli, as well as modern versions like the deadly Paella Bagnet with Eggplant Chimichurri. You can fill up their order form two weeks ahead to place your orders, and book a courier for pickup. They recommend going for an insulated box where possible to prevent spillage.

Cochinillo and Porchetta
Mr. Cochinillo
Mr. Cochinillo makes some of the best Cochinillo del Cielo (P7,499/regular, P8,499/large) in town, with perfectly crisp skin and meat so tender and buttery you can cut it with a plate. For a different experience, you can also try the Mr. Cochinillo’s Black Pig (P18,499) made with leaner (but tasty-in-its-own-right) wild boar. Just head on to their website to place your orders.

Macho Cochinillo
Macho Cochinillo gives their Cochinillo (P3,600/half roast, P6,800/full roast) a Thai-style twist, pairing it with two totally delish sauces: the Suppah Thai sauce, and the Mean Green Sauce. Porketta Man
Porchetta is an excellent option for small families or groups looking for a good roast-pork dish for the holiday table. Get your fix from Porketta Man, whose version of the Italian pork-belly roll (P1,700/1.25 kilograms, P2,600/two kilograms) is slowly roasted for six hours in charcoal ovens, resulting in deeply flavored meat with delightfully crisp skin. PizzaExpress
Beyond their winning pizzas, PizzaExpress has a range of great baked pasta trays that suit just about any occassion. Cibo serves up reliably excellent pasta at their restaurant, and you can expect the same quality and attention to detail from their catering leg, Cibo di Marghi. Just some of the trays you can order, each good for four to five, are the Classic Beef Ragu Lasagna (P1,350), Spaghettini “Alla Checca” (P1,000), Penne “Al Telefono Al Forno” (P1,420), and Linguine, Prosciutto, Truffle Cream (P1,450). Italian chef Giacomo Gervasutti hails from Venice, and serves up pasta dishes he learned from his mom and grandmother through Pasticci. The venture’s got an eclectic range of pasta dishes which include the simple-but-stellar Rigatoni al Pesto (P750/sharing, P1,200/famiglia) with pesto and cherry tomatoes; the rich Seafood Pasticcio (P850/amore, P1,100/amici, P1,800/famiglia) with a homemade bechamel, lasagna, seafood, and fontal and parmesan cheeses; and the meaty Bucatini Amatriciana (P750/sharing, P1,200/famiglia) with tomatoes, guanciale, and pecorino romano.
