(SPOT.ph) While a cup of good ol' taho always does wonders to soothe the soul, there are that we find ourselves wondering, what are the other possibilities with the syrup-sago-silken tofu combination? Here's a one-of-a-kind variation: the Mango Graham Taho made by Iloilo taho shop Taho Republic!
The Mango Graham Taho (P45/eight ounces, P55/12 ounces) has soft silken tofu and sago like any other taho, but switches up the arnibal for a mango-flavored syrup and adds crushed grahams for an extra nutty, lightly spiced flavor that goes with the tang of the mango syrup. It's just like having a mango-graham parfait but in a heartier medium—plus, you get an extra protein boost from the silken tofu!
Taho Republic offers other flavors of taho as well. There's the Classic Taho (P40/eight ounces, P50/12 ounces) for purists, as well as the Strawberry Taho (P40/eight ounces, P50/12 ounces) and Mango Taho (P40/eight ounces, P50/12 ounces) for fruit lovers. Love Filipino flavors? Try the Buko Pandan Taho (P40/eight ounces, P50/12 ounces), Ube Taho (P40/eight ounces, P50/12 ounces), or the Ube Queso Taho (P45/eight ounces, P55/12 ounces). And if you like your taho on the extra-indulgent side, you can go for the Chocolate Taho (P40/eight ounces, P50/12 ounces).
And if you're looking for great taho in Manila, you're in luck as we've got our fair share of taho shops here, too—some of our go-to spots are Soy Express and Soy Bueno. They deliver to your doorstep, too!
