(SPOT.ph) The second season of Korean zombie series Kingdom left everyone with a major cliffhanger—if you, for some reason, haven't made it to the last episode of this thrilling show, then be warned as major spoilers lie ahead! Netflix just dropped the teaser for a sidequel special episode, Kingdom: Ashin of the North, that drops in 2021. And yes, it's all about the mysterious figure that had everyone shaking in the last moments of season two. Check it out below:

The teaser takes us back to the moment we first saw Gianna Jun portraying Ashin, the strange lady who may or may not be the source of the plague ravaging Korea in this period series set during the Joseon period. This special episode will dive into her identity—who knows, we may finally find out how the zombie infection really started via those crazy ressurection plants.
Min Chi Rok (Park Byung Eun), head of the Royal Commandery Min Chi Rok, is also confirmed to be a part of this bonus story. The episode will dive back into the past, detailing how Min Chi Rok and Ashin's fates are intertwined.
