While we have yet to travel internationally again, tropicalstay.ph—a bed and breakfast in Pampanga that officially opened on September 16—has villas inspired by the tropical destination. It is nestled inside the famous SOUQ Restaurant compound in San Fernando.
tropicalstay.ph has three villas for two, each with a private outdoor tub, outdoor shower, and garden pool. Overnight rates start at P5,500 on weekdays and P6,000 on weekends, inclusive of Filipino breakfast—yes, Pampanga tocino! Amenities also include smart television with Netflix subscription, WiFi, toiletries, and free parking. Maximum capacity is at four pax, but with an additional charge of P800 per head.
SOUQ Restaurant compound also houses Hamanda Hotel, a photo-worthy boutique hotel owned by Swedish interior and furniture designer Andreas Lundin.
