(SPOT.ph) Typhoon Ulysses made its landfall in last night, causing water levels to rise in areas like Marikina (even surpassing Ondoy's peak water levels). Power outage in different parts of Luzon were and are currently being experienced and houses in flood-prone areas are now submerged. In case you or someone you know is looking for temporary shelter, some Metro Manila malls have stepped up and announced that they will be keeping their doors open to victims of the typhoon.

SM Supermalls announced yesterday, November 11, that their Luzon malls will be open and offer shelter to stranded customers and nearby residents. Today, November 12, they write that they will be offering food, shelter, charging stations, and free parking to those who are affected by typhoon Ulysses.

Ayala Malls
Ayala Malls announced earlier today, November 12, that malls in areas affected by the typhoon will be closed today, but they will keep their doors open to offer shelter for customers who want to wait out the storm inside their malls.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls
Eastwood City, Uptown Bonifacio, Forbes Town, Venice Grand Canal, and other Megaworld Lifestyle Malls are offering shelter to those who need it. They will be waiving overnight parking fees and there will be free WiFi, charging stations in selected areas, as well as lounges and bathrooms.
