What MIBF events can be streamed online?
Several exhibitors will be streaming workshops and seminars through YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom throughout the fair. The National Book Development Board (NBDB) will hold Literary and Publishing Trade Conversations, a.k.a. LitPub all November with different speakers every week.
Meanwhile, the Book Development Association of the Philippines will hold the Pandemic Playbook: the BDAP Literary Festival on November 28 and 29. Keep on the lookout for events with authors like Gina Apostol, Eugene Evasco, Gigo
Alampay, Lourd De Veyra, Mookie Katigbak, Jessica Zafra, Manix Abrera, Mina Esguerra, Ricky Lee, and more.
Plus, mark your calendars for an online exclusive sneak peek happening on Monday, November 30! Author Anna Gomez, better known by her pen name Christine Brae (with best-selling novels like The Light in the Wound, In This Life, Eight Goodbyes, and The Year I Left), is now working with actor Kristoffer Polaha, whom you might know as Travis Burke in Hallmark’s television film series Mystery 101. The two are collaborating on a book series entitled "From Kona with Love," and they will be sharing their process virtually for MIBF Online.
