If you think Shake Shack's signature Shackburger was tasty, wait until you try their new and limited-edition Black Truffle Burger (P315): a 100% all-natural Angus beef Swiss cheeseburger with crispy ale-marinated shallots, earthy black-truffle mayonnaise, and nutty arugula for a peppery contrast!
Shake Shack's got other new truffle items that will also be available for a limited time. If you're more for their chicken sandwiches, be sure to try the Black Truffle Chick'n (P285), which has a crispy 100% all-natural chicken breast fillet topped with pickled shallots, black truffle mayo, and arugula. You can also accompany your meal with the Black Truffle Fries (P205)—their crinckle-cut fries topped with crispy ale-marinated shallots, black truffle mayo, and scallions for a flavor-and-texture party.
Mouth watering yet? You can get your fix at your nearest Shake Shack branch, or order for delivery through GrabFood or Foodpanda. You can also give them a call and book your own courier for delivery. They'll also be donating P100 to various relief and rebuilding efforts for the communities affected by the recent typhoons with every truffle item purchase until today, November 17.
Shake Shack is a casual joint known for offering honest-to-goodness good burgers. They came to the Philippines in 2019, bringing over all their bestsellers, as well as Philippine exclusives like their Calamansi Pie Concrete and Ube Shake. In October, they also opened their Greenbelt branch.
Burgers go exceptionally well with beer, and one local craft-beer brand that makes great brews is Crazy Carabao. In particular, their Pilsner has notes of lightly toasted malt notes, plus floral and spicy herbal flavors, which would go with the earthy truffle!
