(SPOT.ph) Most of us know Santa Claus, the popular Christmas character with a white beard and a big belly, clad in red clothes. Western culture believes that he secretly goes down the chimney on Christmas Eve to give us gifts if we've been good boys and girls. In Antipolo, a quirky museum is home to thousands of figurines of Santa Claus: Casa Santa Museum. The museum reopened on November 3, just in time for the holiday season.

Located within the the popular wedding venue Jardin de Miramar, Casa Santa Museum boasts more than 3,700 items related to Christmas and Santa Claus—from life-sized statues to singing figurines. It was a family rest house turned into a museum in 1995, and has since been delighting guests with its unique collection. For 2020, their newest offering is the Santa's Toy Factory section, where visitors can see Santa's Elves in action and even play with the cool toys.
Casa Santa Museum is at 276 San Jose Extension, Padilla, Antipolo, Rizal. Entrance is at P250 per head. It is open from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and from Saturday to Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-booking is required through 0917-891-2208 or Casa Santa Museum's Facebook page.
