ABC's long-running medical drama series Grey's Anatomy has had an ever-changing cast since the show premiered in 2005. Grey's Anatomy is currently in the middle of Season 18 and very few original cast members are remaining. Several actors have said their goodbyes, such as Justin Chambers, who played Dr. Alex Karev, and Jesse Williams, who played Dr. Jackson Avery. Each character was written out of the show in a different way -- though some had substantially less tragic departures than others.
