Cordell Walker lost a horse race against Dan Miller, who married into the Davidson family and their feud, resulting in the Walkers losing their ranch to their rivals as the wager. To make matters worse, Walker family patriarch Bonham was accused of murder after being linked to hiding evidence from the fire that claimed Marv Davidson's life years ago. And as the Walker family tries to deal with the fallout, Bonham is facing criminal charges based on the case the Davidsons are building against him.
