The Fast & Furious franchise has taken audiences around the globe on a wild ride for twenty years, but every journey has to end. The series will be concluding sometime in 2024, but before that happens, audiences will have to buckle in for its rip-roaring tenth installment, Fast & Furious 10.
The film will serve as the first part of the series' two-part finale and will feature a number of returning characters and plotlines from across the franchise. Here’s everything that’s known about the untitled tenth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise.

As the beginning of the end for the Fast & Furious series, Fast & Furious 10 will have to juggle a lot of story elements. In F9, the team went up against Jakob, Dom's younger brother who he previously disowned. However, after Jakob was betrayed by the criminal mastermind Cipher, he switched sides and helped Dom and his team stop her before fleeing. Cipher also managed to escape, and considering how hell-bent she is on taking down Dom and his family, it seems likely she will once again be back with a new evil plan.
In addition, F9 featured the return of Han Lue, who had been presumed dead at the hands of Deckard Shaw. The film's post-credits scene featured Han confronting Shaw, and it has been confirmed that their relationship will be touched on in the tenth installment. Other possible plot points include the truth behind the disappearance of Mister Nobody and maybe even the return of Brian O'Conner.
So far, the cast members confirmed to return for Fast & Furious 10 are Vin Diesel (Dom), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman), Ludacris (Tej), Sung Kang (Han), Charlize Theron (Cipher) and rapper Cardi B (Leysa). Other recurring series cast members, such as Jordana Brewster (Mia), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw) and Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey) are all expected to reprise their roles, as is John Cena (Jakob Toretto). They will be joined by Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, who will be portraying a villain in the film.
Diesel has also hinted at the possibility of returning cast members from early Fast & Furious movies, including Eva Mendes (Agent Monica Fuentes). However, despite Diesel's previous teases to the contrary, Dwayne Johnson has revealed he won't be reprising Agent Luke Hobbs for Fast & Furious 10 and 11 due to his highly-publicized feud with Diesel. That said, Lucas Black may yet return as Sean Boswell, having signed a three-picture contract with Universal of which only two films have been fulfilled.
On the crew side, the film is being directed by Justin Lin, a veteran of the Fast & Furious series. The movie's other crew members are currently unknown, as F9 scribe Daniel Casey will not be returning for the tenth and eleventh films.
Universal Pictures intends to release Fast & Furious 10 in theaters on April 7, 2023. That would make it the second Fast & Furious movie to arrive over the Easter holiday frame after 2015's Furious 7, which grossed $384 million globally in its opening weekend.
There is no trailer for Fast & Furious 10 at this time. This article will be updated to include the trailer when it releases.
