Tanya Garcia Reveals Her Reason For Declining A Role In FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

Tanya Garcia finally explains her reason why she has to decline the offer of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano to be part of their series.

The Ang Probinsyano have been in the air for more than five years now. The ABS-CBN series have a lot of casts now. This action drama series leads by Coco Martin have given so many opportunities to different artists.

However, Tanya declined the offer of the production for her. At that time, her husband Mark Lapid already departed to the show.

But she said that Coco already asked her before. Aside from being the lead actor, Coco is also show’s creative consultant and producer.

“Yes. Actually, oo.

“Ngayon, wala na si Mark sa Probinsyano, e. Pero before he left, tinanong na rin ako ni Coco.

“Sabi niya, ‘Gusto mo ba? Meron akong role sana…’ Meron siyang role na ibinibigay sa akin.”

Mark became part of the Kapamilya series from 2017 to early 2019.

If she would accept the offer, Tanya said that they would be away from their kids at the same time which she doesn’t wants to happen.

“Kaya lang, noong time na iyon, sabi ko, hindi naman puwedeng sabay kami, sabay kaming mawawala ni Mark, di ba?

“Meron siyang dalawang role. Actually, ang ganda ng role kaya lang sabi ko, hindi kami puwedeng sabay ni Mark.”

However, Tanya needed to turned down the offer and take care of her kids— Mischa Amidala, 13, Matilda Anika, 9, and Madeleine Ariana, 4.

In short, Tanya chose to be with their kids while Mark is away having his work done. This is a good balancing as a parent so their children still have one of their parents.
