Do you still remember the child that star as the “bulilit” in the very popular commercial of Camella Homes?

I bet you are now singing the song of the commercial of Camella Homes.

The child star behind the very popular “Bulilit Sanay Sa Masikip” commercial of Camella Homes in 2009 is Chacha Cañete.

 

 

After her appearance in the popular commercial of Camella Homes, Chacha Cañete joined ABS CBN network’s kids gag show “Goin Bulilit” where she became a regular face until 2015.

According to PEP.ph’s (Philippine Entertainment Portal) article posted on May 12, 2017, Chacha Cañete focused on her studies after her appearance in “Goin Bulilit”.

 

 

Years after her “Goin Bulilit” days, Chacha Cañete finished her grade school at Diliman Preparatory School with flying colors at the age of 12 years old.

 

 

Aside from being popular due to her television commercials and appearances in tv shows, Chacha Cañete stayed popular behind the camera because of her achievements in academics and her talent in singing.

 

 

Chacha also known for her real name as Trisha Luise also acted on stage with the help of their school’s theatre organization. Chacha Cañete portrayed the role of Mulan, one of Disney’s characters, in a play which was very remarkable.

 

 

According to PEP.ph, during the Radio Broadcasting & Scriptwriting category of Department of Education NCR level’s 37th Division Young Writers Contest held last October 2016.

Chacha Cañete and her team won second place. She also won the Best Anchor Award, according to PEP.ph.

 

 

Aside from the achievements she acquired in academics, Chacha Cañete also surprised the netizens when Wish 107.5 released her live version of the “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten.

The listeners of the radio station were surely surprised with Chacha Cañete when her version of “Fight Song” was released last March 24, 2017.

 

 

Chacha’s live version of the “Fight Song” became top 8 of Youtube PH’s trends.

Chacha also auditioned for “Sound of Music” when they searched for young actors that will portray Von Trapp’s children.

 

 

In the 17th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood, California, Chacha Cañete represented Team Philippines where she joined 5 categories in 2013.

 

She won silver medals in two of the categories including Pop and Gospel categories with her version of “The Climb” and “Climb Every Mountain”, respectively.

 

Chacha Cañete also represented the Philippines in the Model United Nations Camp held in Korea after she became the grade-level champion in DepEd’s spelling competition way back 2015.
