Ogie Diaz took to Facebook and aired out his sentiments.
Against the national government’s supposed lack of action amid the onslaught of Ulysses.
The comedian and talent manager urged officials to move and to stop the “kuwentong barbero.”
He underscored that if the physical and mental health of officials renders them incapable, then the duty or responsibility must be passed on to those who still have the capability to do.
“Di na ito joke lang, kaya sana, sumeryoso na ang mga nakaupo,” said Ogie.
He highlighted how people would just follow if the advice is correct and there is a sense of direction.
He also could not understand why it would seem that people could not feel that the government cares.
His full post reads:
“Sawa na tayo sa kwentong barbero. Tama na yan, huhuhu. Baka pwedeng kilos-kilos naman. Kung di na kaya ng katawan at isip, ipasa na sa may kakayahan.
Di na ito joke lang, kaya sana, sumeryoso na ang mga nakaupo. Susunod naman siguro ang karamihan kung tama ang advise, kung may punto at may direksyon.
At kung totoong nagbibigay ng pag-asa at nagpapalakas ng loob ng mga kababayan nating biktima ng kalamidad.
Juice ko po, sobra-sobra nang pagsubok itong dumarating sa atin, dagdagan pa ng pag-challenge sa atin ng ibang incompetent na nakaupo.
Naniniwala akong kaya naman kung nasa puso ang pagtulong at pakikiramay na sana ay nararamdaman ang presensya at malasakit.
Kaya madalas kong marinig, “Tayo-tayo na lang talaga ito. Wag na tayong umasa pa sa ibang tao na dapat sana ay nakakapitan natin.”
Sa totoo lang, nakakaawang makita ang mga kababayan nating helpless at mga NGO at mga pribadong indibidwal pa ang gumagawa ng effort.
