Heart Evangelista Reminisce About The Hardest Role She Played In ABS-CBN

Heart Evangelista recalls her worst telenovela during her stay in ABS-CBN.

As we all know, Heart is now one of the most known Kapuso star and actually our queen when it comes to OOTD.

But this time, Heart looks back on her latest vlog in Youtube. In the said vlog, she recalls her telenovela Hiram Na Muka in ABS-CBN.

Heart then labelled this as her “worst telenovela” and here is the reason why.

As per Heart, she worn a prosthetics all day at that time. Sadly, the said prosthetics of Heart can’t let her breathe.

The said project was a theme of a human who was born with a monkey like face. This was the remake of Nanette Medved’s movie back in 1992.

“I couldn’t breathe under that mask. The hole was on top here [pointing to her nose bridge] and these [her nostrils] were covered so I had to breathe through my mouth,” Heart recalls.

She said that she would go to the taping in 5 in the morning and finishes 3 am in the next day. So she wears the mask all day.

At that time, the actress is trying to be independent on her own so she needs to support herself and earn money.

“But I remember, at that time, I was trying to become independent from my parents so I needed to earn money. So wala akong choice kung hindi gawin siya!”

But the hardest part for her is when she has to do a crying scene. Since it is more of like a drama, Heart has so many crying scenes.

“Puro iyak pa iyong scenes, so iyong sipon would be here [inside the mask] and I have to squeeze it up like that [to the mask’s nostrils]”

“I’d take it out from the top part, it was so bad.”

This project of Heart was her comeback at that time after taking break from acting at the height of her relationship with Jericho Rosales.
